Imperialism in Africa

Pros:

• The African countries received many natural resources
• The Portuguese found many cities and and people with a high level of education in and culture.
  

Cons:

• In 1562the Fray Diego de Landa ordered all the Mayan books to be burned.
• There were wars in Africa
• Europeans collected slaves from Africa to take back to Europe, which is forced labor.
